Aisha Jamila is an American actress who is best recognized for her appearances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has proved her ability as an actress, delivering amazing performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Her role on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to catch her interest. The performance she made in the biographical film All the Way as the women's right activist Fannie Lou Hammer attracted the attention of the public. Hind was also acknowledged for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical drama series Underground.
