Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood was conceived in
Raleigh, North Carolina on September 7 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III (a
actor in the theatre writer, director, actor) is her father. Sara Wood Wood is
her mother and an actress. Her older brothers are Dana Wood, who is a musician
and Ira David Wood IV, who also has acted. Evan and her brothers often
performed at Theatre In The Park in Raleigh. Her father started it and is its
director of operations. At the age of five she auditioned against Kirsten Dunst
for the leading role in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles
(1994) after a long auditioning process. With her parents and brother Ira they
moved to Los Angeles in 1996. Since the time, she has seen the success of
television shows and movies on television, and feature films. She's been in
Practical Magic (1998) as well as in the comedy S1m0ne (2002) as Al Pacino's
daughter. She the film followed with Thirteen (2003) in which she starred
alongside Holly Hunter. Her breakout performance as Tracy on "Thirteen"
brought her a Golden Globes nomination and a Screen Actors Guild Award
nomination. At the time she was nominated by SAG she was the most youthful
actor in the Leading Role category. The role she played in the role of Veda
Pierce in the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce (2011) brought her an Emmy
nomination and an Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe award. Acclaim was also
awarded for her performance as Stephanie (Mickey RourkeĆ¢€™s ex-wife) in Darren

do horseback riding, and rollerblade. She holds the black belt for tae Kwon-Do.
She remains in contact with a lot of her Once and Again (1999 castmates: Mischa
Barrton, Julia Whelan and Shane West.
